Marissa Fallico is a GIS Analyst with Davis Horizons. Marissa has a B.A. in Environmental Studies with a concentration in water systems from Northeastern University and a Masters in Urban Studies from Georgia State University.
Throughout college she spent her time in research positions analyzing data, restoring oyster reefs, working in a saltwater greenhouse, examining seawall efficacy, and analyzing transit data. Various GIS projects that she has worked on went on to be published in the Frontiers in Bioscience journal. While much of her prior work experience was located at a marine science lab, sea-life was not for her and she decided to become a land-lubber instead assisting the soils team with many complex GIS related matters.
In her free time, Marissa enjoys spending time at the farm with her animals, eating delicious food with her partner, and training her dog.
